The verb hallow, the main part of a sentence.
A verb is a part of speech that occurs in each sentence. It expresses an action (dance, dream, drink, eat, enter) or describes a certain state (notice, owe, possess, prefer, realize). Apart from these two, there are auxiliary verbs. They do not have its own meaning, only a grammatical one.
Verbs are inflected for tenses. There are three groups of tenses, past, present and future. Past tenses reflect previous acvivities that took place, present describes actions that are happening now, while future tenses show predicted or planned activeness.
